פרטי האירוע

Join us for the opening of the first exhibition and a housewarming event at Ha’Dira, the Liebling Haus Residency Program hosting the Urban Artistic Hosting Platform (UAHP). UAHP examines the role of art in the city and artists’ agency to create new urbanism through critical artistic hosting practices. The event marks the conclusion of artists Anat Litwin and Sally Krysztal’s residency and collaboration at the third-floor apartment of the Liebling Haus and the beginning of a new chapter, where the apartment is on display for the public to explore.

The exhibition features a visual and conceptual language developed on-site during the residency as a result of ongoing research and dialogue, and includes a series of installations that reappropriate domestic and urban space. The former home of the Scheuer family, is now an artistic space focused on the meanings of the term “residency” as well as new meanings of memory and preservation, marking home as a new cultural and civil frontier in a changing urban reality. The exhibition forms a new layer of UAHP, part of Anat Litwin’s Ph.D. in the Faculty of Architecture and Town Planning at the Technion under the supervision of Prof. Rachel Kallus.

Guests are welcome to bring a jar containing home materials (raw ingredients, food, concoction, whatever represents home for you). The jars will be on display in our pantry during the exhibition.

Artists-in-Residency: Anat Litwin and Sally Krysztal

Guest artists: Roni Hajaj and Alisa Lyudinshina, Lee Barbu, Bar Flesch, Yael Gronner

Program curator: Architect Sabrina Cegla

Duration of Exhibition: May 28, 2021 - July 3, 2021
