הלילה כחזית אחרת: טיול ושייט בחיפוש אחר חושך / Night as Other Frontier: Walk and Boat Ride in Search of Darkness

חוסן העין: כיצד תאורה מלאכותית משפיעה על החיים שלנו? האם אנחנו יכולים או צריכים להסתגל לחיים עם פחות אור?

בטיול שייט לילי אלונה רודה לוקחת את המשתתפים אל הים הפתוח במסע חיפוש אחר חושך. היא מספרת על ההיגיון שמאחורי ההרחקה של החושך מהערים וכיצד חשיפת יתר לאור משפיעה של איכות החיים של החיות, הצמחייה ובני האדם.

סדרת טיולי הלילה של האמנית החזותית אלונה רודה מתמקדת בתאורה החזקה שיש כיום בערים. טיולים אלה, המבוססים על גישה מחקרית, ממשיכים ומרחיבים את הפרקטיקה האמנותית שלה ומאירים על נושא שאינו זוכה ליתר תשומת לב – זיהום אור בסביבה הבנויה.

מנחה:

אלונה רודה – אמנית חזותית, סצנוגרפית ומתרגלת עירוניות – גרה ועובדת בברלין ותל אביב. הפרקטיקה הרב-תחומית שלה נטועה בהתבוננות לילית בסביבה הבנויה, עם דגש על המרחב הציבורי. עבודותיה של רודה הוצגו בתערוכות במוסדות ציבוריים ומוזיאונים. עבודות גדולות ותערוכות יחיד שלה התקיימו בין השאר במרכז לאמנות עכשווית, תל אביב, La Casa Encendida, Madrid, Museum Marta Herford, Kunstpalais Erlangen, Salzburger Kunstverein, PlugIn ICA, Winnipeg, מוזיאון תל אביב לאמנות. היא מלמדת במכללת שנקר ופעילה בארגון Dark Sky International שנלחם בזיהום אור.

19:45 התכנסות בכניסה למלון הילטון וטיול

20:00 של חצי שעה בגן העצמאות

20:30 הגעה למרינה תל אביב - שיט

משתתפים מתבקשים ללבוש בגדים כהים בלבד, ולהביא גם בגדים חמים לשיט. 

יש להצטייד בנעליים סגורות, משקפי שמש וכובע בהישג יד.

מספר המקומות מוגבל ל-30. הרשמה ומכירת כרטיסים מראש. 

עלות האירוע 60 ₪ וכולל את הטיול המודרך והשיט.

שימו לב – ההשתתפות באירוע היא באחריות המשתתפים. עליכם להיות מסוגלים לשוט בסירה וללכת חצי שעה.

Resilience of the eye: How does bright artificial illumination impact our livelihoods? Can we, and should we, adapt to living a life under less light exposure?

In this nocturnal walk and boat ride into the open sea, Rodeh takes the audience on a journey searching for darkness. She discusses the reasoning behind the withdrawal of darkness from cities and how overexposure to light influences the well-being of wildlife, vegetation, and humans.

Visual artist Alona Rodeh’s ongoing series of night walks highlight the theme of high-intensity illumination in the nocturnal city. Driven by a research-based approach, her walks are an extension of her artistic practice, shedding light on the under-valued topic of growing light pollution in the built environment.

Alona Rodeh, Visual artist, scenographer and urban practitioner

Based in Berlin and Tel Aviv, her cross-disciplinary practices are rooted in the perception of the nocturnal built environment. With an emphasis on public space, she has shown works extensively in public institutions and museums, with large-scale works and solo shows in places such as CCA Tel Aviv, La Casa Encendida Madrid, Museum Marta Herford, Kunstpalais Erlangen, Salzburger Kunstverein, PlugIn ICA Winnipeg, Tel Aviv Museum, and others. She teaches at the Shenkar College of Engineering and Design IL and advocates for Dark Sky International, an NGO fighting light pollution.

Meeting point for the gathering is located at Entrance of Hilton Hotel.

Wear your darkest clothes, warm clothes for the boat ride, closed shoes, sunglasses, and a cap at hand.

There are limited places (30 participants) available. Registration and ticket sale in advance. The price per ticket is 60ILS and includes the guided tour and the boat trip.

Please note that participation is at your own risk. You should be capable of going to sea and be able to walk a longer distance.

You are obliged to sign a legal document before the start of the event stating that you are participating at your own risk.
