In the context of our complex era, traditional linear problem-solving strategies often fail to address underlying challenges, inadvertently setting the stage for future issues. This necessitates a shift towards a non-linear, Systemic Design approach, which leverages scientific principles to navigate complexity, fostering the creation of resilient and regenerative systems.

This session aims to delve into the application of Systemic Design in scenarios of crisis and disruption, with a particular focus on the aftermath of terror attacks. Prof. Tobias Luthe will initiate the conversation by outlining the fundamental principles of Systemic Design. Following this, a panel comprising Architect Merav Morad, Dr. Arie Levy, and Architect Sharon Golan will discuss its potential to rejuvenate both urban and rural communities, with a special emphasis on the often-neglected social aspects.

We encourage our audience to participate in this essential dialogue, seeking to merge expert insights with practical experiences within the Systemic Design framework. Join us in exploring innovative solutions to today's pressing challenges through a scientific lens.

Arie grew up in Montreal, Canada and made Aliyah to Israel and decided to live in the Negev. In Israel, Arie worked in the fields of immigrant integration, fundraising, and Israel-Diaspora relations. He worked at the Jewish Agency, United Israel Appeal, is now the current Director General of Federation CJA’s office in Israel while running several Impact Investing initiatives, blending finance and social needs

The event is part of the four-day summit "Practicing Urban Resilience", a satellite event of the New European Bauhaus Festival organized by Liebling Haus LAB in cooperation with 3426 and Radical.

במציאות שלנו, נראה שאסטרטגיות ליניאריות מסורתיות לפתרון בעיות אינן מצליחות להתמודד באמת עם אתגרים מורכבים, ולמעשה הן רק מכינות את הקרקע לבעיות עתידיות. מכאן עולה הצורך בגישה עיצובית מערכתית לא-ליניארית המשתמשת בעקרונות מדעיים כדי לנווט דרך המורכבויות ולטפח יצירה של מערכות חסינות ומתחדשות.

אירוע זה מבקש להתעמק ביישום של עיצוב מערכתי במקרים של משברים והפרעות, עם התמקדות מיוחדת בתוצאות של התקפות טרור. פרופ' טוביאס לות'ה (Tobias Luthe) יפתח את השיחה בתיאור  העקרונות היסודיים של עיצוב מערכתי. לאחר מכן יתקיים דיון פאנל עם אדר' מירב מורד, ד"ר אריה לוי ואדר' שרון גולן, שישוחחו על הפוטנציאל הגלום בחידוש של קהילות עירוניות וכפריות, תוך הדגשה של היבטים חברתיים, שנזנחים לעיתים קרובות.

הקהל מוזמן להשתתף בשיחה  ולשלב בין ההתנסויות המעשיות שלו לבין התובנות המקצועיות של מחשבת העיצוב המערכתי. הצטרפו אלינו לחקירה יצירתית של פתרונות להתמודדות עם הבעיות האקוטיות שלנו כיום מזווית מדעית.
