The time we are living in is called „Anthropocene“, the age in which humans are the driving factor of the planet's development. The Anthropocene results in climate change, degradation of land, massive reduction of biodiversity, exploitation of natural resources. To keep it short: The Anthropocene does not seem to be very resilient.

To change that, we have to better understand what kind of architecture shapes the Anthropocene - from factories to landfills, from refugee camps to border controls, from windmills to solar roofs: What is the future heritage of our time? What kind of buildings and landscapes future cultures will excavate to understand how we destroyed the planet?
